Wed Midday Swim Location Change

For those of you that do the Wed noon swims with Juliet, for the remainder of the active tri season these aregoing to try shifting to a new location in Croatan. This offers more convenience for parking/gathering than did our previous location on the North End.

Croatan is South of the Ocean front off of General Booth Blvd, directly South of the Rudee Inlet Bridge.

From the North, proceed over the Bridge and take a left onto Croatan Road, and then take a Right on Vanderbilt.

From the South (Red Mill/Dam Neck Road/London Bridge Rd), you would take a Right on Croatan Road.

There is a parking lot at the end of the Road. Parking is $4 between 10 and 6 for non VB residents, and $1 for VB residents, and is verified by your Drivers License. Street Parking is also available on Vanderbilt, first come basis only, and is free.

Be aware the speed limit is 25 on Croatan Road, and is enforced.

The group will meet at the shower building and proceed to the swim.

September 16th will be the last Noon Open water swim I'll be hosting this summer. For those of you that are doing Sandman come out for an easy swim and we'll work on water entry and exit as well.
